Pelion and Pagasitic Gulf:
The holiday resort of the Olympic Gods.

Thirty years ago we became sailors in the waters of the Pagasiticos Gulf. We really appreciated though the Sea of the Argonauts, the 'Pagasiticos Gulf, when during our travels we experienced the Seas of the World. For years now we are designing and preparing the development of the Gulf and the preservation of the image and tradition of the Argonauts, in order to open our Sea to Visitors.

And so we started...

• The promotion of our Argonautical legacy
• The management of Sailing and the Pagasiticos Gulf waters.
• The organization of the first base in Greece with Trimarans and Dinghies in 2004 that was certified by the RYA as a Training Center,
• The Creation of our very own water activities Argonautical Park.
• The organization of the International Federation for Disabled Saililng IMC 2007 Multihull championship.
• We setup the Argonautical Academy where Argonautical Yachting Association (ARYA) instructors are trained.

Today, the Argonautical Park in Afissos Pelion, is recognized as one of the leading organised International 'Locations' for Sea Activities and Tourism of high standards, supporting disabled sailors and training programs in water activities at all levels using Internationally recognised systems, in five languages (English, German, Greek, Dutch and Polish).

In the Argonautical Park you will find Windsurf, Dinghy, Catamaran, Trimaran, Hydrofoil boats and Sailing Yachts. You have the chance to learn how to sail and cruise in safe waters and protected anchorages known for over 3000 years. Additionally you can explore the Gulf underwater with one of the Argonautical Park's diving programs and play with specialised water and wind toys.

Accommodation and Travel

For your accommodation our Park has to offer Hotels of all categories. You can arrive via the major Greek Airports of Thessaloniki, Athens and via new routes at the local airport of Nea Anchialos. Should you arrive in Nea Anchialos, there is a free mini bus service for your final trip to the Park (please make arrangements in advance). You may find assistance in arranging your travel by visiting our website and through our up to date catalogs.

Tour operators

The city of Volos has been chosen to host the Mediterranean Games of 2013. Improvement of the infrastructures, including the Airport, is in progress for Pelion and Pagasiticos gulf. We are looking for partners from all over the world to evaluate and appreciate these Infrastructures and the heaven that is waiting here for you.
